We understand how intimidating it can be to visit a church for the first time, and we want you to feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. The following FAQ should help you know what to expect as you prepare to join us for worship. If you still have questions or concerns, feel free to contact us, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • When and where does the Sunday worship service take place? The weekly Sunday worship service begins at 10:00am and takes place at the Acting Out Study in Cornelius. For more details about the nature of this service and how to get there, click here.
  • What should I do when I arrive? Once you enter the building, stop by the Welcome Center to pick up a guest packet and helpful guide for that day's service. Once you have your packet, feel free to find a seat and enjoy the service.
  • Is there something for my kids?  *Kid's classes have been suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. We love for our kids to worship with us in the regular service, but we also understand how difficult that can be for the younger ones. We follow a bi-weekly schedule for a nursery and kid's class for children in the third grade and younger.  For more information about our kid's ministry and its safety policies, click here.
  • How long does the service last? Our Sunday worship service isn't rushed, and everyone is encouraged to slow down and rest as we worship together. A typical Sunday service will dismiss around 11:30am.
  • What takes place during a regular worship service? Our worship services include worshipful singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and an exposition of a Bible passage. Be sure to grab one of the service guides when you arrive. Inside of the guide is an order of service that will help you know what's coming up next.
  • Is there a dress code? There is no dress code for our services. Dress trends toward business-casual, but you will find anything from jeans to suits. Come however you feel most comfortable for a time of worship.
